Update 1: The Start

I have gained numerous transferable skills in my 7+ years of experience, skills that can transfer to a product manager role. I’ve discovered problems, led the charge to fix them, faced hurdles—from technology, time, and people—managed roadmaps, timelines, and stakeholders, drove through ambiguity and rejection. I’ve worked with my fair share of product managers and I’m confident I could also take on the role.

A piece of advice given to me by a leader in product management was to build my own product, from scratch to launch. And to document the journey and end result for my portfolio.

So here we are.
